To exclude duodenal pathologies such as celiac disease, two biopsies were obtained from the second duodenal portion. The MEN 1 pancreas can manifest any of synthroid inhibitors the previously mentioned tumors, the most common being gastrinoma. The gelatin capsule formulation, unlike the tablet formulation, is unaffected by concurrent consumption of coffee 11. The gelatin capsules may be able to bypass the sequestering mechanism of traditional levothyroxine preparations resulting in better absorption and treatment efficacy in patients with gastric and intestinal malabsorption issues 7. In this case, the gelatin capsule formulation was effective at treating uncontrolled hypothyroidism despite titration of the tablet formulation.
